License: Current license as a Registered Nurse. Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification. MICN desired to be completed within one year of hire. MICN, NRP, TNCC, and CEN encouraged and recommended. Must-Have: - Basic computer skills - Ability to perform physical demands of the job, including frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds - Ability to provide care to diverse age groups Description: Client is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all associates and patients. All associates are required to receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment, with applicable medical and religious exemptions. This position requires the ability to assess data reflective of patients’ status. It is essential to monitor hemodynamic status and interpret the results accurately. The role includes maintaining accurate nursing documentation, including patient histories, conditions, treatments, responses, and assessment of changes. The RN must demonstrate professional behavior and maintain a professional appearance while on hospital grounds. Age-appropriate care needs to be provided to children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations. Emergency situations must be handled promptly and professionally. Expectations for competencies, licenses, certifications, and education requirements must be met. Willingness to perform other duties and innovations as assigned is required. The RN must maintain current knowledge of medications and correct administration based on the patient’s age and clinical condition. Floating to another unit may be required if oriented to that unit and staffing needs arise. Rotational weekend coverage is expected as per the agreement. Medication administration will involve preparation, administration, monitoring, and discontinuation of IV fluids. Nursing documentation must reflect a comprehensive understanding of the nursing process. Performing head-to-toe assessments on all patients and reassessments per policy is necessary. An emphasis on communication skills is essential for reporting and patient interaction.
