Number of Beds: 25
Patient Ratios: 4:1, increasing to 5:1 during surges
Staffing description: When staffing allows, a unit secretary and Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) are available.
Type of equipment: GE monitors, Baxter pumps, Zoll travel monitors
Documentation system: MediTech Expanse
Scheduling requirements: 36 hours per week, requiring every other weekend.
Patient experience requirements: Making personal connections and excellent communication skills are essential.
Unit guidelines/policies: Additional unit-specific policies and guidelines are available upon request.
