The RN delegates interventions to healthcare personnel based on each patient's condition and the competencies of the employee. The role is utilized in hospital inpatient and outpatient departments with 24/7 staffing requirements. Essential Functions: Using clinical reasoning, the RN conducts accurate clinical assessments according to practice standards. The RN identifies and prioritizes patient and family needs and modifies plans to meet clinical outcomes. The RN systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, supporting evidence-based practice through research utilization and experiential learning.
