# Join Our Team as a Dynamic Emergency Room Nurse!
## Job Description
- **Location:** Emergency Department, Asheville, NC
- **Shift:** 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
- **Beds:** 101
- **Patient Ratios:** 4:1 (up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds)
- **Team Environment:**
- Work alongside skilled technicians in cardiac monitoring and internal processing.
- Collaborate with responsive unit clerks, ensuring patient care excellence.
- **State-of-the-Art Equipment:**
- Utilize advanced baxter pumps and GE monitors.
- **Documentation System:** Cerner for streamlined record-keeping.
### Candidate Requirements:
- **Experience:**
- Minimum of 2 years as a Registered Nurse.
- At least 1 year in an Emergency Room setting.
- Experience in Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or a high-volume ED (>100,000 visits annually) preferred.
- **Certifications (required before start date):**
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS
- ENPC (within 90 days of hire)
- **Skills:**
- Teamwork mentality, ability to provide real-time coaching and feedback.
- Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED.
