TravelNurseSource is working with Catalytic Solutions to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Asheville, North Carolina, 28801!
**Exciting Opportunity for an ER Registered Nurse!**
**Job Description:**
- Join a dynamic and fast-paced Emergency Department with a capacity of 101 beds!
- Work alongside a dedicated team in an environment that handles over 100,000 patient visits annually.
- Enjoy a typical patient ratio of 4:1, with up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds.
**Unit Staff and Resources:**
- Benefit from the support of knowledgeable techs in cardiac monitoring, triage, and clerical roles.
- Utilize state-of-the-art equipment, including Baxter pumps and GE monitors.
- Document efficiently using the Cerner system.
**Schedule and Flexibility:**
- Required to work every other weekend, with a commitment to meeting the department's needs.
- Open to floating within all sections of the ED for a well-rounded experience.
**Experience Requirements:**
- 2+ years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an Emergency Room setting.
- Previous experience in a Level 2 trauma center or comprehensive stroke center preferred.
**Certification Requirements:**
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS - all required prior to start.
- ENPC within the first 90 days of hire.
**Essential Skills:**
- Team-oriented attitude with the ability to coach and provide real-time feedback.
- Flexibility to adapt and thrive in various areas of the ED.
