TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, 17268!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: - Must have experience with high acuity patients. - Must be able to care for patients with various medical conditions. Description: SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: Shift 7 PM - 7 AM, including weekends and holidays as needed. Flexibility to float to other departments as needed is required. HOLIDAY REQUIREMENT: Expect to work 2 out of 3 upcoming major holidays. If the contract overlaps with only 2 of these holidays, the expectation is to work 1 of those holidays. Requesting more than 1 holiday off is discouraged. LEVEL I TRAUMA EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Pre-screening will be conducted to determine clinical fit. Candidates who pass will be sent to management for a final decision. Clinical screens will be conducted on a case-by-case basis. Management will conduct interviews with candidates. RTO (requested time off) is a maximum of 7 days. Weekend work will be needed as required, likely every other weekend. Call requirements are not applicable. Floating is required as needed. A blocked schedule is not approved. ADDITIONAL INFO: Care for COVID patients may be required. Facility is tobacco and fragrance-free. Patient Age Groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Position will involve high patient turnover, with an expected daily census of 65 visits. Expect to handle diverse patient diagnoses in a fast-paced environment. Interdisciplinary support will include physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretaries. P/F Testing: Travelers will be required to complete and pass an EKG exam within 72 hours of signing the travel contract. Additional attempts will be allowed at the discretion of unit management. Modules may be required and will take approximately 5-6 hours to complete, typically pre-start.
