The position requires 36 hours per week. The emergency department has a 65-bed capacity and follows a pod-based structure. There are separate areas for pediatric cases and acute mental health situations. The daily census is approximately 230 visits. The clinician to patient ratio is 1:4. Experience with EMR charting system is essential. Floating to other areas may be required occasionally. Rotating shifts may be requested but the night position does not rotate. Candidates should possess strong assessment and critical thinking skills to manage a diverse patient population.
