TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Lansing, Michigan, 48912!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 15 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years minimum experience required Level I trauma experience required License: State license required Certifications: ACLS BCLS by AHA PALS TNCC NIH Must-Have: Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias EPIC charting experience Description: Local candidates accepted. Same pay for locals. RTO must be submitted at the time of application; no additional RTO will be approved later. No RTO allowed on designated holidays. Specialty requires working 3 weekends (Friday-Sunday) per 4-week schedule. Floating to pediatric emergency department may be required. Traveler agrees to work the specified weekend shifts. Staffing ratios currently range from 1:5-6, which may increase depending on patient volume and holidays. Unit operates as a Level 1 Trauma Center, Stroke Center, and Heart Center. High level of interdisciplinary support available for patient care. Daily census includes a variety of patient age groups. Unit handles a wide range of critical conditions and injuries, utilizing advanced nursing guidelines to expedite patient care. Mandatory completion of modules before starting work. All travelers must have required certifications. Experience in continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration is preferred. Triage experience is also beneficial.
