**Job Title: Correctional Health • Registered Nurse • Evenings (1400-2230)**
Join our team in Downey, CA, as a Registered Nurse in Correctional Health for a 16•week contract. Work evening shifts from 0600•1430, 5 days a week, with alternating weekends.
**Responsibilities:**
• Deliver nursing care per CA State Law.
• Conduct blood draws and administer medications.
• Operate independently, making swift clinical decisions.
**Qualifications:**
• Active CA RN License.
• 2+ years in Psychiatric/Behavioral Health, Med•Surg, Correctional Health, or ER.
• Skilled in blood draws and medication administration.
• BLS, MAB/CPI, and Fire Card certifications.
• COVID vaccination and booster required.
**Preferred:**
• Travel experience.
• Local candidates welcome.
**Details:**
• No on•call duties.
• Up to 3 days RTO (none preferred).
• PPE provided; scrubs in Navy Blue or Black.
• EMR: Cerner.
