Description

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Western North Carolina

Start Date: June 15, 2026
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Every other weekend required; scheduling meets departmental needs with flexibility across all ED sections

Requirements:

  • Current North Carolina RN license or ability to obtain
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting
  • Prior experience in a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED strongly preferred
  • ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required before start date
  • ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
  • Ability to float to all sections within the Emergency Department
  • Strong teamwork mentality with ability to provide real-time coaching and feedback
