Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 12 months Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active state license required prior to start date Certifications: - ACLS - BLS - PALS - TNCC preferred Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Experience with a patient ratio of 4:1 - Experience with Cerner or similar charting system preferred Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. This role requires a strong background in emergency nursing with a minimum of two years of experience. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for managing patients in a general emergency department setting, which includes both adult and pediatric cases. Key skills needed include the ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage IV therapy, including blood product administration and central line care. The nurse will also be expected to perform continuous IV sedation and administer medications as needed. Candidates must be familiar with isolation precautions and triage procedures. Other preferred skills include medication management, care of ventilated patients, and interpretation of arterial blood gases. The RN role requires floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed. We value teamwork and interdisciplinary support to provide the best care for our patients. Candidates must be willing to work two out of three major holidays and adhere to all floating requirements.
