Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Unit (ASU), Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), or Critical Care Unit (CCU).
Preferred Qualifications
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in comprehensive post-anesthesia patient assessment and management.
- Ability to manage airways, monitor vital signs, and administer medications effectively.
- Competence in pain management and patient/family discharge education.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and emergency response skills.
Shift Details
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: September 14, 2026
- Shift Type: Day shifts
- Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week
- Schedule: Four (4) 9-hour shifts per week
- Call Requirements: Participation in a weekend call rotation.
Licensing Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maine.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
