Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour or Day 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience preferred License: Active Registered Nurse license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC required Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Trauma Level II experience preferred - Travel experience required - Charting system experience preferred Description: Emergency Room Registered Nurse needed for a fast-paced and busy emergency department. Immediate start available. Schedule includes 36/48 alternating days with weekend shifts required. Weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) required per contract. Candidates must have current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC. Skills required include the management of various medical conditions, patient assessments, and emergency interventions. Responsibilities may include managing ventilated patients and performing procedures such as intubation and chest tube management. Nurses will work in an interdisciplinary team setting. Daily census is approximately 165, with patient age groups ranging from neonates to geriatrics. Candidates must be prepared for a variety of emergency situations and provide high-quality care to diverse patient populations. Compliance with established safety protocols and guidelines is essential. Interest in and ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment is required.
