The nurse will work with a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Team collaboration is essential, with support from various interdisciplinary services. The nurse must demonstrate strong triage skills and the ability to handle psychiatric holds and manage violent behavior. Isolation precautions and PPE adherence are critical aspects of the role. The role includes a patient ratio of approximately 4 patients per nurse. Flexibility in scheduling is required, including availability on weekends.
