Delivers patient care using critical thinking and independent judgment. Completes all phases of the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsible for the direction and supervision of the nursing patient care team, which typically includes Certified Nursing Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, and other technicians. Collaborates with the team and other disciplines in the provision of care. Documents patient care, patient condition, reactions, and responses to treatment in a timely manner. Tracks patient progress and ensures quality care. Requests for time off during the course of the assignment must be noted and verified prior to submission. No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted. Must have a vehicle for this assignment. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.
