Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Texas

Location: Lubbock, Texas

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 1:3 patient ratios; 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period; block scheduling available but not required; 36 hours of orientation provided

- 42-room Emergency Department with 46 beds and an average daily census of 136 patients

- Epic charting system in use; no floating between units required
- Common patient presentations include stroke, trauma, cardiac conditions, respiratory emergencies, and general ER complaints

Requirements:
- Active RN license (Compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
- Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, and TNCC
- Experience with 1:3 patient ratios preferred
- Epic charting system experience required
- Proficiency in BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, central line management, stroke protocols, triage, and dysrhythmia management
- Community hospital and Level II Trauma Center experience preferred
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
