Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS (must be active/unexpired)
Must-Have:
- Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks.
- Must pass a telemetry test on Day 1 with a score of 85% or higher.
Description:
Looking for an experienced registered nurse to work in a busy emergency department.
The position includes rotating shifts, available from 7 am to 7 pm, 11 am to 11 pm, or 3 pm to 3 am.
The role requires working two weekends during the scheduled period.
Candidates must be flexible with floating to various areas, including psych emergency department and pediatric emergency department (caring for patients aged 15 and older unless prior pediatric experience is available).
The patient ratio will vary between 1:4-5 patients depending on acuity.
This emergency department is very busy, holding up to 120 treatment areas and serving 350-440 patients per day.
Travelers will not be placed in trauma rooms while on assignment.
Preferences include experience with EPIC, previous travel assignments, and critical care experience.
