Description:
Position available for an experienced ER Registered Nurse.
The role involves working in a level II trauma center and certified stroke center.
The nurse will float to the Emergency Department Overflow unit as needed.
The nurse-to-patient ratio may flex to 1:4.
Candidates must work well with staff and physicians.
The ER handles a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Daily patient visits can reach 230 with a total of 110 beds.
This position requires managing acute scenarios including drug overdoses and multi-system organ dysfunction.
Skills in procedural sedation, triage, and administration of emergency medications are essential.
Critical care management and the ability to interpret dysrhythmias are also required.
Availability to work every other weekend and holiday is necessary.
