Description:
The Emergency Department is a Level III Trauma Center.
It has 38 beds and 2 trauma bays.
It is one of the busiest Emergency Departments in the region.
The assignment consists of 36 hours per week.
A rotating evening/night shift schedule is required.
Shifts may be scheduled either from 3 PM to 3:30 AM or from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.
Every other weekend is required, along with holiday rotation.
Requests for excessive time off around the holidays will not be approved.
Taking call is not expected and should be a rare occurrence.
Candidates must have completed at least 3 Emergency Department assignments or have 3 years of recent Emergency Department experience.
Additional certifications such as TNCC and ENPC are strongly preferred but not required.
Competency with Epic EMR is required; candidates without this experience will not be considered.
Time off requests must be disclosed at the time of submission for them to be honored.
