Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 48 hours per week; every other weekend required; primarily 1:4 or 1:6 patient ratios based on acuity

- Opportunity to expand clinical skills including BiPAP, ventilator management, and point-of-care laboratory procedures
- Part of a Level II Trauma Center, Cardiac Care, Primary Stroke Center, Burn Center, and Level II NICU system
- Potential to float to main emergency department for additional experience and variety
Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Current certifications: TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS
- Experience with trauma patient care and common ED procedures including IV insertion, Foley catheter insertion, NG tube insertion, and assisting with provider-performed procedures
- Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, vital sign assessment, and respiratory equipment management
- Positive, flexible, team-oriented, and patient-centered approach to care
- Commitment to patient experience standards including AIDET, narration of care, and SBAR communication
