Job Opportunity - Emergency Department RN - Georgia

Start Date: July 27, 2026

Location: Evans, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48 hours per week; every other weekend required; primarily 1:4 or 1:6 patient ratios based on acuity

  • 11-bed emergency department treating most commonly seen ED chief complaints and trauma patients
  • Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech
  • On-site imaging capabilities including CT and X-ray, plus point-of-care lab testing
  • Opportunity to expand clinical skills including BiPAP, ventilator management, and point-of-care laboratory procedures
  • Part of a Level II Trauma Center, Cardiac Care, Primary Stroke Center, Burn Center, and Level II NICU system
  • Potential to float to main emergency department for additional experience and variety
Requirements:
  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
  • Current certifications: TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS
  • Experience with trauma patient care and common ED procedures including IV insertion, Foley catheter insertion, NG tube insertion, and assisting with provider-performed procedures
  • Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, vital sign assessment, and respiratory equipment management
  • Positive, flexible, team-oriented, and patient-centered approach to care
  • Commitment to patient experience standards including AIDET, narration of care, and SBAR communication
