Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a fast-paced emergency room setting License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, CPI, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Experience with pediatric population is highly preferred - Epic experience required - Proven ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage them - Strong triage skills Description: Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays. Daily patient census averages 70 visits, with approximately 160 visits per day. Complete patient care across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics. Manage a variety of chief complaints and diagnoses ranging from minor cuts to complex oncological emergencies. Perform special procedures including conscious sedation and trauma alerts. Provide interdisciplinary support and collaborate with various healthcare teams. Participate in a team nursing approach to patient care. Assist with floating to intensive care and emergency department as needed. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. Expected to uphold high standards of patient safety and quality of care. Pediatric experience is preferred.
