Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:45 - 07:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC Must-Have: 2 years experience in a Level II trauma center or a high-volume emergency department. At least 1 year of experience in an emergency room setting. Teamwork mentality with the ability to coach and provide feedback in real time. Flexibility to work in all areas of the emergency department. Description: Join a flagship hospital known for providing high clinical quality consistently recognized among the top hospitals in the nation. The facility is a regional referral center for trauma and stroke care, with a comprehensive range of medical services. This emergency department has a capacity of 101 beds and typically maintains patient ratios of 4:1, increasing to 7:1 for behavioral holds. Unit staffing includes technicians available for cardiac monitoring and triage, as well as unit clerks for scheduling and patient processing. Our equipment includes Baxter pumps and GE monitors, utilizing a reliable documentation system. Scheduling requirements include working every other weekend, with the need for flexibility to meet departmental needs. Applicants should be prepared for potential floating within the emergency department. Candidates will be required to adhere to patient experience standards, including effective communication and updates throughout patient visits.
