Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Kansas
Start Date: September 9, 2026
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; 3:1 average patient ratio (5:1 for low acuity, team nursing for pediatrics)

- 52-bed Emergency Department with high patient volume and diverse case mix
- Comprehensive emergency care including IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and pediatric cases
- EMR: Meditech; Equipment: Alaris infusion systems
- Collaborative night shift staffing model: 1 charge nurse, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician, and 1 midlevel provider per pod
- Travel assignment offering exposure to fast-paced, high-acuity emergency medicine
- Opportunity to work with an experienced, dynamic team in a modern diagnostic and emergency center
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Kansas (or eligibility for licensure)
- Minimum 1 year of current Emergency Department RN experience required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC
- Preferred: Experience in large-volume emergency departments (52+ beds), Meditech EMR proficiency, and prior travel nursing experience
- Strong commitment to patient experience and safety protocols, including barcode scanning compliance
