There are 6 fast-track beds for minor non-urgent issues. The unit includes 1 seclusion room plus an additional 5 monitored rooms. It is classified as a Level IV Trauma Center. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3 or 1:4. An average of 100 patients are seen per day. Support staff consists of 5 techs during peak hours. Common types of patients seen include trauma, cardiac, and neuro cases. The electronic medical record system used is Allscripts. The medication system in use is Omnicell. Scrub color is flexible, except for all black. Scrubs are not provided. Cancellation Policy: 3 per 13 weeks. Charting System: Allscripts. BSN is not required. License is needed for submission.
