Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:45 - 07:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC (within 90 days of hire) Must-Have: 2 years of experience as a nurse with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting. Teamwork mentality and ability to provide real-time coaching and feedback. Flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department. Description: The position offers the opportunity to work in a high-volume Emergency Department with 101 beds. The department typically has a patient ratio of 4:1 for medical cases and up to 7:1 for behavioral holds. Staff includes technicians who assist in cardiac monitoring and processing areas, as well as unit clerks for day and night shifts. Equipment used includes Baxter pumps and GE monitors, with documentation handled through a specified system. The scheduling requires working every other weekend, with no commitment to block scheduling. Floating is limited to areas within the Emergency Department only. Patient experience is emphasized through respectful behavior and effective communication. Required skills include the ability to adapt to a diverse community with varied languages spoken.
