Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an emergency room setting required License: Must have an active nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required; CPI and TNCC preferred Must-Have: Experience with patient ratios of 1:4 Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room specialty. This position requires working night shifts of 12 hours. The RN will manage a patient ratio of 1:4. Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room. ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications are required for this role. Experience with additional certifications such as CPI and TNCC is preferred. Every third weekend commitment is expected. This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The daily census is approximately 127 visits. Interdisciplinary support is available from various services including pharmacy, radiology, and social services. The emergency room treats a wide range of patient conditions. Candidates must be prepared to float within the service line as needed. All travels within the service line must maintain compliance with established deadlines. Completion of required modules prior to the start date is mandatory for all RNs. Consideration for this position is open to pending license holders. Candidates must adhere to all organizational policies and requirements throughout the employment period.
