Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active Registered Nurse License required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, PALS, NIH required; CPI and TNCC preferred Must-Have: - Insertion of central lines, arterial lines, chest tubes - Post cardiac arrest hypothermia - Intubations - Code strokes, code STEMIs, and code blue team experience - Ability to care for trauma patients, pediatric patients, and mental health patients Description: Seeking a motivated Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. This role involves working night shifts with a patient ratio of 1:3. Occasional floating between units will be required as needed. Nursing staff will care for various patient ages, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support is available to assist in patient care. Daily census in the unit is approximately 150 with around 44 patient beds. Nurses will manage diverse cases, including trauma, pediatrics, and mental health conditions. Strong clinical skills in managing ventilated patients and procedural sedation are necessary. The job requires effective triage and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
