Extensive experience with trauma, STEMI, Stroke, and Sepsis is required. Description: The Emergency Department consists of 30 beds with 49 FTE, 6 PRN, and 2 leadership staff. Staffing includes 1 Charge Nurse and RNs during the day shift based on volume forecast. Night shift staffing consists of 1 Charge Nurse and RNs as well. Patient ratios are 1:5 at the most, depending on acuity. The unit is equipped with advanced monitors, defibrillators, ultrasound, and EKG machines. The electronic medical records system is Meditech, transitioning to Expanse. Preferred candidates will have adult and pediatric ED experience. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility, accountability, responsibility, and team spirit. Floating may occur to two free-standing emergency departments if necessary. Scrub attire is royal blue, and candidates should adhere to the dress code policy.
