Description:
The Emergency Department has 30 beds and a dedicated team of staff.
There are 49 full-time employees, 6 PRN staff, and 2 leadership positions.
On day shift, staffing includes a Charge Nurse, RNs, and support staff based on patient volume.
Night shifts have similar staffing patterns.
Patient ratios are a maximum of 1:5, depending on patient acuity.
The unit is equipped with advanced monitors, defibrillators, ultrasound, and EKG machines.
The electronic medical record system is transitioning to a new platform.
Candidates with adult and pediatric emergency department experience are preferred.
The ideal candidate is flexible, accountable, responsible, and a great team player.
Candidates must be willing to float to free-standing emergency departments if needed.
The dress code includes royal blue scrubs and adherence to the dress code policy.
Weekend shifts will be assigned on an alternating basis.
