Job Summary
Join a dynamic 65-chair Outpatient Infusion Center in Lawrenceville, Georgia, dedicated to providing comprehensive intravenous treatments to a diverse patient population. The Infusion Registered Nurse will be responsible for the administration of various treatments, including chemotherapy and hazardous drugs, alongside managing central lines, accessing implanted ports, and performing peripheral IV placements. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional committed to patient safety and excellent clinical outcomes for this travel assignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and other hazardous drugs safely and effectively.
- Provide expert central line care and management, including dressing changes and troubleshooting.
- Perform sterile access and de-access of implanted ports.
- Administer blood products according to established protocols.
- Initiate and maintain peripheral intravenous access.
- Deliver a wide range of intravenous treatments to a varied patient population.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an Infusion Center setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in chemotherapy administration.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Preferred Qualifications
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification.
Skills & Competencies
- Clinical Skills: Chemotherapy administration, central line care and management, implanted port access, blood product administration, peripheral IV insertion.
- Equipment: Proficiency with Plum IV Pumps, CADD Pumps, and Dinamap vital sign monitors.
- Electronic Health Record (EHR): Experience with Cerner EMR system.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, critical thinking, patient education, and teamwork abilities.
Shift Details
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM (approximately 10.5-hour shifts).
- Days per week: 5.
- Contract Length: 13 weeks.
- Start Date: October 12, 2026.
- End Date: January 9, 2027.
- Call Requirements: Not specified.

- Travel Requirement: This is a travel assignment; candidates residing within 50 miles of Lawrenceville, Georgia, are not eligible.
Licensing Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
