Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department.
The unit features 9 beds and operates with 3 RNs per shift, with additional staffing for mid-shifts.
Patient ratios are set at 4 to 1 based on acuity, with 1 to 1 care available if needed.
The equipment utilized includes IV pumps, point-of-care lab machines, EKG machines, and various testing devices.
Candidates must be proficient in performing procedures such as lab tests, IV placements, and EKGs.
A team player who is flexible with assignments is ideal for this role.
Candidates with additional certifications such as ENPC or CPI will be given preference.
Staff are expected to rotate weekends or work 4 weekend days per schedule.
Floating to other emergency and freestanding facilities may be required.
This position provides an opportunity to care for pediatric patients in a fast-paced environment.
