Oncology Registered Nurse
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Oncology Registered Nurse for a travel assignment at the NHC Cancer Center, specifically within the Radiation Oncology department, located in Canton, Georgia. This role is critical in providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing radiation therapy and other oncology treatments in an outpatient setting.
The successful candidate will be an integral part of a dedicated healthcare team, focusing on direct patient care, comprehensive patient education, and seamless coordination of services for individuals navigating their cancer journey. This assignment offers a unique opportunity for an experienced oncology RN to make a significant impact on patient outcomes and well-being within a supportive and advanced facility.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience within an Oncology or Radiation Oncology specialty setting.
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Canton, Georgia.

Shift Details

- Holiday Requirements: Must work two (2) major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one (1) minor holiday (The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve) during the assignment.

- Assignment Dates: September 28, 2026 – January 2, 2027
Licensing Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
