Candidates must have 2+ years of emergency room experience. Certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI are required. Experience in a Level I Trauma Center is preferred. Excellent skills in triage and dysrhythmia interpretation are necessary. Candidates should be comfortable with emergency medications and procedural sedation. Experience with ventilated patients, trauma situations, psych holds, and pediatric emergency care is essential. The staffing ratio is 1:3.5. EPIC documentation experience is preferred.
