TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210!

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 2026

Location: Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36-hour work week with every other or every third weekend required; patient ratio of 1:3.5; float required as needed

Highlights:

  • High-acuity emergency department with 115 beds, 86 rooms, and approximately 210 daily patient census
  • Level I Trauma Center with stroke-certified and STEMI-certified capabilities
  • EPIC documentation system with Pyxis medication management
  • Comprehensive patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • 36 hours of orientation provided to support successful transition
  • First-time travelers accepted with appropriate credentials and experience

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
  • Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of application
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications required
  • Proficiency in triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, emergency medications, procedural sedation, ventilated patients, trauma care, psych holds, and pediatric emergency care
  • Experience in Level I Trauma Center, stroke-certified, and STEMI-certified facilities strongly preferred
  • Competency in arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, IV vasopressors, and multisystem organ dysfunction management
  • Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
  • Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor
  • Ability to complete urgent compliance requirements including state fingerprinting process
