Experience with ventilated patients is required. No first-time travelers accepted. EPIC experience is required. Description: This position involves working in the emergency room. The RN will support patient care technicians and medics. The position requires coverage on every other weekend with 4 weekend shifts per contract. The nurse will work with a patient ratio of 1:5. The emergency room sees approximately 210 visits per day. Orientation hours for this position are not provided. Travel requirements include previous travel experience. Charge nurse experience is preferred. The work environment includes a variety of adult patient diagnoses. Level 1 trauma experience is preferred. The unit is expected to float staff to sister locations when needed. Weekend coverage is mandatory with a total of 4 shifts scheduled on weekends within the contract duration. The RN will work within a daily patient census that aims for optimal care standards.
