**Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team!**
**Job Description:**
As a passionate Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN), you will deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients of all ages in our fast-paced, 36-bed Emergency Department, serving approximately 59,000 patients annually. Your role will be pivotal in assessing, prioritizing, intervening, and evaluating patients with a variety of emergent and urgent conditions, making every day a new challenge in critical care.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform comprehensive and focused assessments of patients with emergent, urgent, or non-urgent conditions.
- Triage patients using evidence-based protocols to determine acuity levels and initiate timely care.
- Provide rapid intervention and stabilization for patients facing medical, surgical, traumatic, psychiatric, and pediatric emergencies.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in line with hospital policy and provider orders.
- Operate and monitor medical equipment, including cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and ventilators.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team: physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and EMS personnel.
- Coordinate patient care, including diagnostic testing, re-evaluation, disposition planning, and education.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly.
- Participate in rapid response, trauma activations, code blue, stroke, and STEMI protocols as required.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety guidelines, and hospital standards.
- Foster a culture of patient-centered care, empathy, and service excellence in a high-volume ED environment.
**Qualifications:**
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oklahoma (or compact license).
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
- Preferred: TNCC and ENPC certifications (to be obtained within a specified timeframe after hire).
- Prior experience in Emergency Nursing, Critical Care, or high-acuity settings is a plus.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Competency in trauma care, cardiac care, and stabilizing critically ill patients.
- Capacity to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations.
**Working Conditions:**
- Fast-paced, high-acuity Emergency Department with 36 beds.
- Frequent exposure to trauma and critical illness.
- Requires standing, walking, lifting, and performing physical tasks throughout the shift.
