Description:
This position is for a registered nurse in the Emergency Room.
Shifts are 3x12 hours during the night from 19:00 to 07:30.
Two weekend shifts or four weekend days are required within a six-week period.
Holiday coverage as needed with no call responsibilities.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department is required.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIH are required, with CPI, PALS, and TNCC preferred.
Epic charting experience is mandatory.
Previous Charge RN and Level 2 Trauma experience is preferred.
Patient population will include adults with a daily census of approximately 180 patients.
The unit treats a variety of emergency cases, including stroke and cardiac patients.
Interdisciplinary support teams are available, including respiratory services and pharmacy.
Travelers may be floated as needed.
Compliance exams are required, along with passing an EKG exam.
Modules for training may take 2-4 hours to complete.
