Two weekend shifts or four weekend days are required per 6 weeks. Holidays may be needed. No call required. First-time travelers are welcome. Candidates are required to have current certifications. Candidates must have experience with patient ratios of 4-5. Candidates should have experience in charting with Epic. This facility cares for all patient diagnoses. Daily census is approximately 180 visits. The unit has 63 rooms and 63 beds. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, and social services. Special procedures performed in this unit include stroke and cardiac protocols. Staffing includes 24/7 respiratory therapists for assistance. Travelers may be floated to different campuses as needed. Compliance with an EKG exam is required for all RNs, with two attempts allowed. Modules will be completed during orientation, but are non-billable.
