First-time travelers are acceptable. License: Active nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS BLS NIH Must-Have: Experience with EPIC charting system required. CPI, PALS, and TNCC are preferred. Charge RN experience and Level 2 Trauma experience are preferred. Description: This position involves working three 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Two weekend shifts or four weekend days are required every six weeks. Holidays may be required as needed. No call duty is expected. The daily patient load includes a variety of diagnoses, commonly managed in an emergency setting. Interdisciplinary support is provided by various teams for comprehensive patient care. Special procedures include Stroke, Cardiac, and Level 2 Trauma care. Continuous support from respiratory services is available. Travelers may be floated to different campuses as needed. EKG compliance exams are required for all RNs in this role, with two attempts allowed. Modules for training are not billable and will be completed during orientation.
