Description:
The Emergency Room sees approximately 180-200 visits per day.
The unit has a 6-bed behavioral lockdown area staffed by psychiatric professionals.
There is a ratio of 1 nurse to 4 patients.
Nurses perform their own lab draws and start IVs.
A respiratory therapist is available 24/7 and is dedicated to the emergency room.
Pharmacy services are available on campus 24/7.
Weekend and holiday shifts are required on a rotating basis.
Scrubs are to be Caribbean Blue only.
The callout process is essential and must be followed.
All travelers must complete orientation during the first week, with no rollovers allowed unless approved.
