Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,076 to $2,307 per week in Eastern Minnesota, MN

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a combined adult and pediatric General Emergency Department setting
• Perform triage and apply appropriate isolation precautions in accordance with facility protocols
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and respond to patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure
• Obtain and interpret 12-lead EKG/ECG as clinically indicated
• Administer and monitor continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation
• Float within the hospital or to an affiliate facility as needed to meet staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Minnesota license in hand preferred; candidates without MN licensure must initiate the application process upon offer acceptance)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Proficiency with Epic (Excellian) electronic health records
• Experience in a General Emergency Department with combined adult and pediatric patient population
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Experience in a teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with Level 4 trauma protocols and workflows
