# Job Opportunity – Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Texas

Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week, 13-week assignment, weekend shifts (every other), call requirements apply

Requirements:
- Active RN license in Texas (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room specialty experience required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required
- Meditech experience strongly preferred
Professional Appearance Standards:
- Royal blue scrubs required for RN staff
- Natural nails only; artificial nails, gel, and enhancements not permitted
- Professional grooming standards maintained
- Visible body art should be covered when possible
- Ear piercings only; other visible piercings not permitted
