TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Harvey, Illinois, 60426!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in an urban, Level I Trauma Emergency Department. License: Must have a valid Registered Nurse license. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS required. TNCC and CPI preferred. Must-Have: - Prior experience in an urban, Level I Trauma Emergency Department. - Weekend availability required every other weekend. - Flexibility to float to other units as needed. - Ability to accommodate requests for block scheduling is not accepted. Description: Position requires a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room. Ratios for patient care are 1:4. Strongly preferred candidates will have prior experience in a teaching hospital. First-timers are accepted for this position. Floating to other units is required. A maximum of 7 days off is permitted during the contract period. Charting is performed using an electronic system. The unit caters to a diverse patient demographic including neonates, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily visits number approximately 120. The Emergency Room has a total of 34 rooms. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, social services, pharmacy, and transportation. Required skills include management of acute conditions, medication administration, and patient assessment. Candidates should possess a comprehensive understanding of emergency procedures and protocols. This role involves providing care for a wide range of medical emergencies. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment. A strong commitment to patient care and teamwork is essential.
