Description:
The position requires a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room.
The nurse will work the night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience.
Current certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI are required.
Candidates must have experience with the EPIC charting system.
Weekend shifts are required every other weekend.
The nurse will be responsible for providing care to a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and pediatrics.
Patient ratios are expected to be 1 nurse to 4 patients.
The role involves management of various emergency situations and requires proficiency in advanced nursing skills.
The Emergency Room includes a total of 79 beds with interdepartmental support services available.
Flu vaccines are mandatory, with no exemptions allowed.
Candidates will need to demonstrate competency in EKG/Telemetry during orientation.
Attendance policies are enforced, allowing for a maximum of three absences during the contract period.
Travel experience is required for this role.
