Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Plano, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Self-scheduling available; 4 weekend shifts per month required

  • 38-bed Emergency Department serving Level 1 trauma, certified chest pain, comprehensive stroke, and accredited burn patients

  • Variable patient ratios based on acuity and volume with dedicated charge nurse support
  • Opportunity to cross-train at sister facility for expanded experience
  • Collaborative team environment with RNs, advanced paramedics, EMTs, and unit secretaries

Requirements:

  • Active Texas RN license or compact state license eligible for endorsement
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
  • SAMA, CPI, or equivalent (30-day grace period available if not currently certified)
  • ENPC certification preferred
  • Emergency department experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment managing trauma, stroke, burn, and chest pain patients
