Key responsibilities include managing critical care scenarios and treating a variety of conditions. Common diagnoses include sepsis, CHF, chest pain, stroke, DKA, and trauma. Staff will float occasionally to the ICU as needed. The department has 13 beds with a patient ratio of 1:4. ED EHR system is utilized for documentation. Personnel should demonstrate a strong ability to work effectively in a team environment. Attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential qualities. The dress code consists of blue or black scrubs. Casual wear is not acceptable.
