- Deliver exceptional nursing care according to the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice by utilizing the nursing process:
- Assessment
- Diagnosis
- Planning
- Intervention
- Evaluation
- Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.
- Keep thorough documentation of patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
- Assess learning needs and educate patients, family members, and caregivers, while identifying issues and resources.
**Job Requirements:**
**Education/Skills:**
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.
**Experience:**
- One year of experience in a related nursing specialty is preferred.
**Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications Required:**
- Current BLS certification from the AHA.
- Current ACLS certification from the AHA.
- Current PALS certification from the AHA.
- Current TNCC certification.
- RN License in the state of TX or compact.
**Position Requirements:**
- Newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
- All new hires will receive preceptorship from a designated trained staff member, ensuring a supportive onboarding experience.
- Completion of all annual competency verification requirements is essential.
**Work Schedule:**
