The facility is a level III trauma center with 198 beds and state-of-the-art operating suites. It provides healthcare services to a broad geographic area. The hospital offers diverse medical and surgical services, including a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, and more. The environment is known for its beautiful location and numerous recreational opportunities. This role involves team nursing within a pod system. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, including assigned social workers and unit educators. The Emergency Department has a total of 48 beds. The patient ratios are 4:1 in the main ED and 6:1 in the fast track. Common diagnoses include end-stage renal disease, substance abuse disorders, psychological disorders, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, congestive heart failure, abdominal pain, and chest pain. Familiarity with emergency equipment such as defibrillators and blood warmers is essential. You will be expected to maintain high-quality patient care and support during critical situations.
