Description:
This is a 198-bed, level III trauma center with state-of-the-art operating suites.
The facility provides healthcare services, including medical, surgical, and rehabilitation.
Additional services include a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, inpatient behavioral health unit, day surgery center, and extensive imaging and lab testing services.
It has earned accreditation for PCI, Mammography, and Laboratory services.
The facility is recognized as one of the Top 20 Most Beautiful Clients in the U.S.
The Emergency Department features 48 beds with flex space and patient ratios of 4:1 in the main ED and 6:1 in Fast Track.
Equipment includes Zoll Defibrillators, Level One Blood Transfusers, QinFlow Blood Warmers, and ultrasound-guided IVs.
Electronic health records are managed using Cerner.
The patient population served includes those with end-stage renal disease, cirrhosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and psychiatric conditions.
Common diagnoses/treatments involve substance abuse disorders, psychological disorders, CHF, abdominal pain, and chest pain.
Team nursing and a pod system are implemented within the department, with a social worker and unit educator assigned.
Weekend work is required for a minimum of two weekends per schedule, with no call requirements.
