Job Summary

We are seeking a highly adaptable and experienced Registered Nurse for a Critical Access Hospital in Plentywood, Montana. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive patient care across a diverse range of services within a close-knit community hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a Critical Access Hospital setting, encompassing emergency, inpatient, skilled nursing, observation, and outpatient services.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans for a diverse patient population.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Monitor patient conditions, interpret diagnostic data, and respond effectively to changes in patient status.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, allied health professionals, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation of patient care activities.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Room (ER) experience.

  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification.
