Job Summary
We are seeking a highly adaptable and experienced Registered Nurse for a Critical Access Hospital in Plentywood, Montana. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive patient care across a diverse range of services within a close-knit community hospital setting.
The successful candidate will be integral to managing patient care flow and delivering high-quality nursing interventions across multiple departments, including the Emergency Room, Inpatient Unit, Skilled Nursing (Swing Bed), Observation Status, and Outpatient Therapies. This position requires a strong ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment, ensuring excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Critical Access Hospital setting, encompassing emergency, inpatient, skilled nursing, observation, and outpatient services.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans for a diverse patient population.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions, interpret diagnostic data, and respond effectively to changes in patient status.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, allied health professionals, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation of patient care activities.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Room (ER) experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification.
